After much negotiation and compromise between alcohol distributors and small, Arizona wineries,
the state Senate and House of Representatives passed Senate Bill 1276, 24-4
and 48-5 respectively.
Governor Janet Napolitano signed the bill into law, which took effect
September 1, 2007, and here we are! Arizona wineries who produce less than
20,000 gallons of wine annually are now allowed to ship their wines out of
state and take orders via the Internet, fax, phone or snail mail.
